Echidna Early Learning Centre continues the dedication required to create an environment which is visibly welcoming and inviting for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and community members which feels safe and free from racism and prejudices. Echidna Early Learning continues the commitment to ongoing learning and providing a teaching environment to develop an understanding of First Nations knowledges about historical events, connections to Land, traditions, languages, and child rearing practices. We acknowledge the benefits this will bring to our understanding of the many ways of being and engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and non-Indigenous families. We foster equality and equity and support the education of all children and provide a place where Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islanders and all Australians feel a sense of belong together. Our sphere of influence begins with each and every one of us at Echidna Early Learning Centre as we engage in intentional learning and teaching as individuals, a service and a community to unite for the greater goal of a reconciled Australia.
